"Master Physician" Prayer ...

Master Physician ~
We come before You in our brokenness,
Offering pieces of ourselves
At the altar of Your Holy Feet.

Heal us, Oh Holy One!

Put us back together
As You would fix a broken doll
For a crying child.

Patch us with Your Divine Love
And smooth Your Celestial Salve
Over the deep woundedness
Of our most hurting humanity.

Sweetly dab dry our tears of pain ...
Sing songs of Hope and Joy
To pull us from the depths
Of our illusive ills.

Shine Your eternal Light
On the Perfection within us.

Destroy all the dark places,
Until all that remains to be seen
When we look in the mirror
Is Your Light
Staring back at us.

Oh, Master Physician!
Heal us with your Divine Touch!
Cleanse every spot;
Banish every blight;
Wipe away every ill ...

Heal everything within
That is not All Good ~

Heal until there is nothing left to heal ~
Until All that is left
Is You.
Only You.

In The Depths of My Being

In the depths of my Being
I burn with Love ...

The hot, Divine Flame
Consumes all
That is not holy.

The Flame licks its lips ~
Devouring anger,
Regret,
Impure thoughts,
Judgment,
Ill will,
Inaction,
Fear,
Carelessness,
Envy,
Impatience,
Excesses,
Jealousy,
Doubts,
Discontent,
Arrogance,
Covetousness ...

I feed the Flame well ~
Continually tossing more and more
Unholy passions
Into its ravenous mouth.

I draw Life and Joy
From the flaming Sacred Fire within ...

And burn with Divine Love ~
In the depths of my Being.

Freeze This Moment!

(Rose garden angel at Beverly Hall, Quakertown, PA -- http://www.soul.org/)

I brush away a wayward hair ~
Then wonder if it was actually
An angel who touched me ...
For there was no hair.

I feel a softness against my face ~
And know it to be cool air
From the humming window air conditioner ...
Or an Unseen Guide.

I almost dare not move ~
For it would put a ripple
In the thick Love
That surrounds my Being.

I want to remain trapped in the Stillness.

I want to drown in the Soup
Of The Holy Presence.

I want the deafening Silence
To lull me to Eternal Sleep.

Freeze this moment!
Oh, Holy Presence!

As I sit here burning
With love for You,
Please freeze me!

I Am Only Half Here ...

Background to the meditation musing below:

Most mornings, after meditating, I open my journal and write whatever reflection seems to just "hang in the ethers" ~ and often prayers or poems result.

This particular morning, I felt guided, instead, to draw.

I pulled out a pencil and doodled.  Obviously, my artwork leaves much to be desired!

I then pulled out a few colored pencils and "colored" the lines.  I just sat and stared at the drawing for a long, long while.

After sitting with the so-called "artwork," the meditation musing below just poured from my heart.

I cannot explain the connection between the artwork and the prayer below, but I figure my Soul somehow must understand, and I suppose that's all that matters.

I Am Only Half Here ...

I am only half here ...
I am incomplete
Without You ~
Master Designer!

My heart is not whole
Until it beats in sync with Your Heart.

My ears cannot truly hear
Until You listen through them.

I utter babble
Until You speak through me.

My mind runs wild and restless
Until Your Mind tames and soothes it.

I live fruitlessly and hopelessly
Until Your Life enfolds me.

I wander aimlessly
Until I walk with You.

I am only half here ...
I am incomplete
Without You ~
Holy Beloved!

Make me Whole ~ and Holy ~
As I merge into You.

Oh, Divine Love!
Complete me!

A Prayer for Newness

Oh, Unified One!
You Who desired us into Being ~
You Who spoke us into place
And graced us into Life ...

We bow before You,
Honoring You for allowing us
To reflect such Great Majesty
In such a humble vessel.

We bring gifts of gratitude and respect,
Acknowledging how often we do not stop to thank You
For Your great gifts ~

For Your ancient wisdom passed down to us
Through the wind, the stones,
The rivers, the trees, the land ~

For sacred moments of Silence
Where we are allowed to embrace
The Most Holy of Holies
As we sit in the same spaces as our ancestors
And hold the stillness
Within our own inner Beings.

We come before You boldly,
Asking, yet again, as we approach
The Table of Your Grace and Generosity:

Allow us to crawl deep into Your Womb
And rest a long while there ...

For we feel an urge to newness ~
A desire to create ~
A hopefulness for rebirth ~
A longing for the utter joy that comes
With new beginnings.

We crave to co-create
With the Creator of All;

To birth a new thing
With The Divine Mother
Who is Mother of All;

To sing a new song
With The Holy One
Who birthed all melodies;

To lean into the strong arms
Of The Loving Father
Who holds our deepest desires
Until we are ready to live them.

Sacred and Loving Love of All Loves ~
Allow us to merge our Creative Spark
With all those who have come before
And those who have yet to come after ~

With all those born and unborn,
Those seen and unseen,
Those who share our form,
And those whose forms take shapes
Of the winged, the finned, the leafed,
The animals, the wind, the water,
The earth and fire.

And when we finally emerge from Your safe and loving Womb,
May our Creative Spark
Ignite such an explosion of energetic Joy
That only You ~ only Love ~
Can be seen through our life.

May each new day be a new door
Through which we walk
Into Sacred Spaces,
Into the Watery Depths,
Into the Fire Within,
Into the Divine Love of The Holy One ~
Into You.

A Prayer for Meditation

 A Prayer for Meditation

Divine Holy One!
You Who breathes Breath into my Soul ~

Align my will with Your Will ~
Allow me to walk with You in Loving-kindness ~

Let Your Light always mark my path.

May I seek Your loving touch of Grace when I stray,
And may I gently guide my own steps back to the path
When I find myself in the wilderness.

May I always honor You as my Royal Parent,
Bowing before You with deep humbleness and sincere gratitude
In the temple of my own Soul
Where You both govern me
And live through me.

May the Divine Spark within
Keep an eternal Flame of Love
Ever burning bright within my Heart ...

And may it Light my way,
So that not only I,
But All,
May see the Way Home
To Divine Love.
